Job Description:
- Develop new clients in the ecommerce/card not present environment
- Identify and build target list
- Work with management, marketing and others to develop a market penetration strategy
- Execute strategy
- Cold call potential merchants
- Attend trade shows
- Maintain CRM up to date with pertinent contact information and current notes on sales activities/cycles
- May work independently or with a small team on a specified vertical
Target market:
- Mid-market ecommerce/card not present businesses with revenues from $5MM to $50MM per year
- Industries: direct selling, education, wholesale/distribution, B2B, ecommerce retail, social networking, etc.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of successful sales experience (must be able to clearly quantify successes), payment processing industry preferred
- Ability to sell to a financial decision maker (CFO, VP Finance, Controller)
- Outstanding presentation skills (verbal and written)
- University degree a plus
- Good to excellent computer skills a plus (familiarity with web presentations tools a plus)
