Dataworks integrates payment archive with payment processing platform

By Joseph Trigliari

29/10/2010 - U.S. Dataworks, a payment processing company, recently announced that it is adding an integrated Payment Archive solution to its Clearingworks payments processing platform.

Earlier this year, Dataworks unveiled ClearHistory, which is a software suite that features the Payment Archive and Payment Analyzer modules. Now clients will not have to purchase the Payment Archive and Clearingworks separately.

"Payments information is inherently difficult to manage and the challenge is growing exponentially with the addition of new payment channels, stringent compliance requirements and security regulations," said US Dataworks director of product management Leilani Doyle.

The company hopes to help merchants minimize costs and maintain service levels while they meet data retention and regulatory requirements with the software integration. Users can upgrade the Clearingworks Payment Archive to extend the length of storage and make reporting more flexible.

Combining the two systems also eliminates the need for a separate payments image and data archive, minimizing information gaps by transferring images and data between two systems and prevents users from having to purchase and install several hardware and software components.
