E-commerce providers redesign websites with consumer in mind

By Lauren Lindberg

04/11/2010 - CCBill, an e-commerce solutions provider, recently announced the launch of a redesigned website and a redesigned client administrator portal, which feature updated navigation flows and user functionalities.

The new website now features short interactive tutorials on a variety of topics, including regional pricing options, electronic invoices and customized e-mail communications, to help online merchants improve their e-commerce operations.

"We wanted to make things simpler and more benefit-oriented for our current clients, and for those new to taking online payments. The new website moves us more toward that goal, while simultaneously enabling merchants to learn about how our online payment processing solution can apply to their business models and needs," said Jake Powers, vice president of e-commerce for CCBill.

Powers said the company often had clients who were unaware of all the features offered through the administrator portal, and the new design is an attempt to address that issue.

Axxess Payments, another e-commerce solutions provider, also recently launched an updated website with the goal of ensuring that customers are aware of the variety of options available to them for payment processing and e-commerce.
