First Financial now sponsors the Children's Miracle Network

By Joseph Trigliari

26/10/2010 - First Financial Merchant Services recently announced a new charity sponsorship through its GiveBack program with the Children's Miracle Network, an organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals.

Businesses that open a merchant account with First Financial can indicate that they would like a portion of their service fee to go to a nonprofit or charity of their choice. The merchant is not charged any additional fees, allowing the company to support a cause it supports without any extra expenditures.

John Eliason, president of First Financial, thinks this is a great opportunity for merchants.

"It's easy, nobody pays more for service. The money already exists. It's a great way for a business to give to a cause that is near and dear to their hearts without reaching into their pocket. We've heard many business owners call it a no-brainer," he said.

Children's Miracle Network also recently announced a partnership with Zap Payments. For any business that accepts credit cards that the Miracle Network refers to Zap, the charity will receive a portion of the profit.
