Linea Intima: Lingerie. Luxury. Love

Liliana fell in love with lingerie when she was a child. Her mother was a very elegant woman who always owned fine things. Growing up, Liliana was fascinated by silk, satin and lace. She especially admired her mother’s red Christian Dior camisole and dreamed that perhaps one day she would own fine things of her own. As a teenager, she would spend her entire monthly allowance on one fancy piece of lingerie. 

Well, her dream definitely came true.

The eponymous owner of five Linea Intima lingerie stores across Toronto started her business 10 years ago. She made it her goal to be an ambassador of good taste and high quality. Linea Intima only works with brands that are well known for their excellence.

Liliana also doesn’t take shortcuts. In a world of mass production and fast fashion, cookie-cutter trends, she makes sure that the products sold in her stores remain consistently superior. It’s the fabrics and lining that make them last longer. The owners of her fine items enjoy the comfort of high quality. Linea once discontinued a brand her stores had carried for many, many years because she noticed a marked decrease in quality.

Liliana loves what she does and she is proud of her work. She goes to the best trade shows in Paris, New York, Miami and other cities around the world to handpick the products that her stores will carry.

It was a true pleasure to meet Liliana. Besides running a successful business she enjoys fine arts, ballet and helping the younger generation to acquire an implacable taste. Liliana’s favourite saying is “we are too poor to buy cheap things”.

P.S. Just for fun Liliana invited the author of this article to try on a bra in the size she thought would be a good fit. Turns out the author has been wearing the wrong size bra all her life. Liliana is indeed a true expert in her field!
